ASTA offers members-only online training sessions : Travel Weekly
ASTA has launched a series of online training courses for members only on a variety of topics, including Real ID, billing business expenses and more.
Media and Marketing Training includes a panel of experts who will guide Advisors to leverage their local media and become the travel expert in their community. ASTA will also host a live Q&A session on the topic on its members-only facebook group Friday, October 21 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
General Counsel Peter Lobasso recorded a training session on Department of Labor issues, ranging from recent federal regulations to recent regulations on the reimbursement of air tickets.
On Wednesday, October 19 at 2 p.m. ET, the Society will host a webinar on Real IDs with Simone Davis of the TSA, director of Real ID.
Next month, on Thursday, November 17 at 2 p.m. ET, ASTA will host a live chat about billing professional fees on its members-only Facebook group. The discussion will focus on what advisors can charge and how to discuss fees with clients.
All courses are available via the video library on the ASTA website. Recordings of live events will be posted online after they are broadcast.
