Best Xbox deals: Save on controllers, headsets, hard drives and more
From consoles to controllers to headsets, there’s a lot that goes into a complete gaming setup. And while the costs can add up pretty quickly, there are also great deals out there that can help you build your dream setup for less. For Xbox gamers in particular, we’ve rounded up some of the best deals you can find right now.
These include discounts on top-rated headsets, customizable controllers, and game subscriptions. And if you’re looking to get your hands on a next-gen Xbox, there’s even a deal on the Xbox series S right now, although we don’t know how long it will last.
Deals come and go pretty quickly during the holiday shopping craze, so we recommend you act fast on any bargains you don’t want to miss. We’ll keep adding new offers over the next few weeks, so be sure to check back often for the best deals available.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday brought one of the best deals we’ve seen on a next-gen Xbox console so far. And while tons of retailers have sold out, Walmart still has the discount Xbox series S in stock and available for purchase without obligation. It’s the more affordable of Microsoft’s two next-gen consoles and doesn’t have a physical disc drive. But you can still play all the same games you can on the most expensive X-Series.

Microsoft officially shut down xbox one in 2020, it is therefore quite difficult (and expensive) to find new consoles. But if you’re hoping to pick up one of those previous-gen Xboxes, there are still plenty of refurbished models out there for a good price. And while they won’t be able to handle all next-gen games, a number of new titles are still playable, including recent hits like Ring of Elden. This model has 500GB of storage and is equipped with a disc drive and backwards compatibility, making it a great choice if you like retro gaming. Plus, it comes with the original wireless controller, saving you an extra $60. Although for casual gamers looking for the easiest and most accessible option, you’re probably better off going with the Xbox series S.
Note: Admittedly, calling this an offer is probably overkill since there’s no direct discount, but it’s the best price you’ll find on a full-size Xbox console with a disc drive.

Xbox users who subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate now have access to Microsoft’s cloud gaming beta, which lets you stream games from anywhere on a variety of devices, including smartphones. This Razer Kishi is a compact controller that holds your phone in the middle so you can enjoy your favorite console games on the go. It’s designed to be universally compatible with Android phones with a USB-C connector and features a similar layout to the Nintendo Switch. There is a iPhone version as well, and it’s currently available for $69.

If you’re looking for a second controller for your Xbox, you can save money by buying directly from Microsoft. The standard black and white color variants are currently $40, saving $20. Or you can save $20 on the slightly more expensive Shock Blue and Electric Volt models, which go on sale for $45. And the bright red colored variant is $25 off, bringing the price down to $40.

If you’re serious enough about your game, it might be worth upgrading to the Elite Series 2 controller. It’s highly customizable so you can match it to your style of play, with interchangeable thumbsticks and paddles. And you can even adjust the voltage and sensitivity, and create up to three different profiles so you can easily switch between different games and players. It charges via a USB-C port and has a battery life of up to 40 hours so you can play without interruption.
Hyper-X
A gaming headset lets you strategize (and chat) with your team via voice chat and provides clear audio so you can hear every footstep and shot that happens around you. The Cloud Flight X was one of our favorite Xbox headsets for this year, and has a built-in sound mixer so you can tweak the sound and amplify what you want to hear. It uses a 2.4GHz USB dongle for low-latency wireless connection, and the mic arm is removable so it won’t get in the way during solo sessions.

Turtle Beach is one of the best brands when it comes to gaming headsets, and the second-gen Stealth 600 is one of the our favorite Xbox headsets on the market. These headphones are compatible with next-gen Xbox consoles and Xbox One, and feature 50mm drivers for clear, immersive sound so you can hear every footstep and shot. They’re completely wireless through the use of a USB transmitter, and the mic arm folds into the headset so it doesn’t get in the way when you’re not using it for voice chat.
Seagate
The games keep getting bigger, and while I’m not complaining, that means your console’s storage can fill up pretty quickly. Seagate makes portable hard drives specifically designed to expand your Xbox storage so you can spend less time re-downloading and more time playing. This 2TB model uses a USB 3.2 interface and is compatible with Xbox Series X and S, as well as all versions of Xbox One.

For next-gen users, Seagate also offers an expansion card that plugs directly into the back of your Series X or S console for smooth gameplay. It uses the same Velocity architecture found on Xbox consoles, so it offers the fastest load times of any external game drive currently available, with data transfer speeds of up to 2,400MB/s It’s about twice as expensive as the portable drive above, but it’s the fastest and most convenient way to expand your Xbox storage right now.

A Game Pass Ultimate membership is one of the best ways to get the most out of your Xbox. It includes an Xbox Live Gold membership, which lets you play games online, and also gives you access to a huge library of Xbox titles that you can download and play for free anytime you want. An Ultimate subscription usually costs $15 per month, but this three-month deal from CDKeys brings it down to just over $9.
