Winsome Sears is not backing down.
During an appearance on Bill Maher’s show, she destroyed the left’s narrative about trans people, drag queens and parenthood.

“James Kirchick: If you noticed, they mistyped and died naming the murderer. They refer to the murderer by their first name and not by the name they chose. And referring to her as a woman as opposed to what her identity was as a man. Which is not how the media usually does these things. They are generally very attentive to the subjective sense of gender identity and respect it. If someone thinks he’s a man, he’s a man. But in this case, they don’t.
Winsome Sears: Wait, you know what, this person killed 6 people. I don’t care who you say you are. You killed six people and three of them were children. You have no say. Well, she’s dead now then. You have no say in telling us who you are and what you do. You killed six people and that’s what really matters.
Bill Maher: Let’s get her out of there and talk about the problem without the killer.
Winsome Sears: Well, you mentioned that, so now we move on. Here’s the thing. I’m a parent, I’m a parent all day, I decide what happens in my child’s life. Neither you, nor the government, nor anyone, I’m not co-parenting. I had this child, I am responsible for this child, and if anything happens to little Johnny, you call me, right? Like it should be. So what I’m saying now is if I don’t want my kid to be lap danced at school by a drag queen, I don’t want it done, that’s what’s happening.
James Kirchick: Do you think the state should have the right to interfere?
Winsome Sears: I speak as a parent. I am a parent, forget the state where I am a parent. This is my child, I will make a decision on what happens with my child.
Bill Maher: I’m not sure lapdances
Winsome Sears: It’s happening, haven’t you seen it?
Bill Maher: There is a drag queen story hour, there are definitely drag queens who read to children
Winsome Sears: There are drag queens who do pole dances.
Bill Maher: At school?
