Frontier Airlines will introduce an annual pass : Travel Weekly
Frontier Airlines will introduce an all-you-can-eat annual pass next spring.
The discount carrier offered few details about the product, which it calls the GoWild! Pass. No price has been revealed.
Frontier said pass holders will be able to take unlimited flights during the 12-month period with access to all of the carrier’s destinations.
The company also hinted that there will be blackout periods, noting that flights will be available to pass holders over 300 days a year.
“Last year alone 5 million seats went missing, now they could be yours,” reads a Frontier teaser for the new product. “With your new GoWild! Pass, you’ll be able to get flight confirmation the day before you depart on one of your unlimited adventures starting in Spring 2023.”
The carrier added that it will sell a limited number of passes.
Alaska Airlines became the first US commercial carrier to offer subscription service in February when the Flight Pass product was launched. The pass applies to Alaska Airlines’ California network as well as Phoenix and Las Vegas. Subscriptions, paid monthly, start at less than $600 per year.
Mexico’s Volaris is another carrier that offers a subscription service.
Those who wish to be among the first to receive GoWild details! Pass can register with Frontier.
