Michèle Hamelink promoted to General Manager of Benelux at Sony Music Publishing
Sony Music Edition has appointed Michèle Hamelink as General Manager of Benelux, with immediate effect.
As Managing Director, Hamelink will be responsible for overseeing and implementing creative strategy across the Benelux.
Based in the company’s Benelux office, Hamelink reports to President, International Guy Henderson.
Hamelink will also have the dual role of Senior A&R, Europe, in which she will continue to grow SMP’s international roster and advance global opportunities.
With 10 years of experience in the business, Hamelink most recently served as Senior A&R, Europe, where she has continued to advance creative initiatives in the region since taking on the role in 2019.
She began her career at SMP (then sony/ATV) in 2012 and then joined the European A&R team in 2015, where she served as Creative Manager and European A&R Scout.
Throughout his time with the company, Hamelink has signed and worked closely with songwriters and producers, including Jonas “Jonasu” Kröper, 070 Shake, Sam Feldt, S10, Son Mieux, RONDÉ, Gabry Ponte, Feng Suave and many others.
