Mike Leach’s many non-football interests
A recent addition to this list comes from October, when Leach called out how bad his team’s hands were. He compared them to the hands of dinosaurs, movement and allto say that his team needed to use them better for, I don’t know, catching the ball, blocking, tackling, and several other essential functions in football.
Leach was so worried if he and his coaches failed to get his players to start using their hands properly, it would affect future generations. He also called the dinosaurs big and athletic, but their hands weren’t a strong point. Guess they got it, because Mississippi State finished the regular season by beating rival Ole Miss on Thanksgiving.
