Protests in Peru: Roads and airport blocked in anger at the new president

Protesters blocked roads and torched vehicles on Monday, and around 2,000 people stormed the airport in the southern city of Arequipa, blocking the runway and forcing flights to be suspended for several hours. The police eventually dispersed them with tear gas.
