Sam Bankman-Fried secretly donated to Republicans
Sam Bankman-Fried, founder of FTX cryptocurrency exchange, revealed in a new interview that he gave “about the same amount of money” to Democrats and Republicans, but that all of his donations to Republicans were “black silver“, Semafor reports.
Bankman-Fried said he didn’t disclose the donations because “liberal” reporters would “freak out.”
He added, “I was also their third-largest Republican donor this year.”
And here’s the kicker: Bankman-Fried is also an investor in Semafor.
