Trump argues he should be immune from civil lawsuits
“Donald Trump’s lawyers will plead on Wednesday that the former president should be shielded from liability with respect to three civil lawsuits related to the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill,” the official said. Washington Examiner reports.
“In February, a federal judge in Washington, D.C. ruled the prosecution could proceed and dismissed a claim by Trump that his prior actions were protected by certain privileges of being president.”
