Willem Dafoe Would Return To The Spider-Verse Again

Willem Dafoe starred in the first of by Sam Raimi Spider Man movies like the billionaire scientist Norman Osbornewho later in the film became the infamous green goblin. When he was asked to reprise the role of the newest Spider Man movie, Spider-Man: No Coming Homehe made it clear that he had certain conditions.
The first is that he wanted his role to be a real role. According to an old interview on Mulderville, he didn’t just want a “powerful cameo” – he wanted to be there, on set, doing some action. “One of the first things I said…basically when they pitched it to me, before there was even a script, was, ‘Look, I don’t just want to appear there as a cameo or just fill in close -UPS. I want to do action because it’s fun for me”.
In a new interview with Reverse, when asked if he would return to the role, Dafoe replied, “If it was all right, of course.” Dafoe goes on to explain that the Norman Osborne/Green Goblin character is “a great role. I liked that it was a dual role both times. Twenty years ago, and quite recently, both times [were] very different experiences, but I had a great time on both.
